About the Workshops
The First Nations Education Steering Committee and First Nations Schools Association invite First Nations school and community representatives to the development of the second level of the First Nations Language Essentials through the Education Partnerships Program.
Key agenda topics
The goals of the current project are to prepare educators to teach First Nations Languages so that students can participate in basic communications and begin to tell simple stories through various methodologies such as Total Physical Response (TPR) methods and TPR storytelling.

Eligibility to Attend
It is recommended that First Nations Language Teachers of BC First Nations schools attend.
Travel is reimbursable for 1 representative per BC First Nation school to attend their nearest session.

Workshop 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Breakfast (8:30 am) and lunch provided.
All participants are responsible for booking their own hotel accommodation.
