First Nation Schools Fall Teacher Professional Development Day

The First Nations Education Steering Committee and First Nations Schools Association are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for teachers who work in First Nation schools. Whether you are an experienced teacher or new to First Nation schools, this two-day event will provide a variety of opportunities to support you in your important role.

The two days will focus on a Workbook and supplementary resources designed to accompany the Performance Standards for Teachers in First Nation schools. This event will be a hybrid event; participants may choose to join in person or virtually.

Eligibility

Teachers who are employed by a BCTEA-funded school are eligible to attend this event.

Registration

Travel Expenses

Please note that participants will be responsible for paying their own travel and accommodation expenses, as well as all food and incidentals related to travel to and from the event. FNESC/FNSA will provide the facility, presenter, breakfast and lunch.

Schedule

9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Breakfast (8:00 am) and lunch (12:00 pm) are provided.

Hotel

Approved registrants will receive an email confirmation including hotel booking information.

Please stay home if you are feeling unwell. Only registered participants are eligible to attend.
