Summer Work Experience Program (SWEP)

The First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC) and the First Nations Schools Association (FNSA) are pleased to announce the 2022-2023 FNIYES Summer Work Experience Program (SWEP) Call for Workplans.

Please note: FNESC has issued a 2022-23 SWEP allocation letter through DocuSign stating the specific funding amount per First Nation organization. That amount is determined using a base amount plus per capita formula.

FNESC has also implemented a new Workplan template to replace the PDF SWEP proposal form. We hope the new workplan is more user friendly and that we can avoid the technical difficulties of the past form.

Submit your workplan by Friday, June 3, 2022 by attaching to the allocation letter in DocuSign. If you have any questions or need support, please email
