The Supports for Students with Exceptionalities Program (SSEP) supports First Nations schools to provide students high-quality, inclusive education services.

The First Nations Schools Association (FNSA) and the First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC) are also active in research and in policy discussions with the federal government to expand support for students with exceptionalities in British Columbia.

First Nations schools can request services from the FNESC/FNSA Supports for Students with Exceptionalities Program (SSEP) team.

Eligibility

First Nation Schools on Reserve are eligible for SSEP Funding, Preschool (K4) – Adult Education. SSEP Funding is targeted for certain special education activities.
